What you get

The browser version of Donut Deck is free to play, for as long as it is up, with no account and no paid tier. Play it at home, at work, in a classroom, in a shop, at a convention or on a stream. Record it, screenshot it, teach from it, run a tournament on it — none of that needs permission.

What is asked in return

• Do not present the game as your own work, or sell access to it.
• Do not try to break, overload or interfere with the site or with other people’s games.
• Names you type into a seat are visible to everyone at that table. Keep them to something you would say out loud at a table with strangers at it.

Names submitted to a public leaderboard that are abusive, or that impersonate somebody, get removed. There is no appeal process because there is no process — it is one person deleting a row.

What is not promised

The game is offered as it is. It may go down, change, gain features or lose them, and no uptime is guaranteed. Nothing you do in it is stored anywhere you can rely on: a game in progress lives in your browser and in the room you are playing in, and both can end.

To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for loss arising from using the site. This is a free browser game about donuts; please do not build anything load-bearing on it.

The rules, the art and the name

The name, the artwork and the design of Donut Deck belong to its maker. The printable rules and everything in the press kit may be reproduced freely, including in reviews, videos, shop listings and teaching material. What is not offered is redistributing the game itself as a product — printing copies to sell, or republishing the browser version elsewhere.

The physical edition

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. The physical edition is in production and not yet priced; when it can be bought, the terms of that sale will be stated at the point of sale rather than assumed here.
